Hourly + Commission for Each Tenant Placed We are a growing Baltimore-area property management company seeking a motivated, organized, and sales-driven Leasing Agent to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys real estate, working with people, and closing deals. The successful candidate will be highly responsive, comfortable working independently, technologically savvy, and motivated by a compensation structure that rewards successful tenant placements. Responsibilities The Leasing Agent will be responsible for managing prospective tenants from initial inquiry through application, approval, and move-in.

Responsibilities include:

• Respond quickly and professionally to new leasing leads
• Schedule and conduct apartment and rental property showings
• Follow up consistently with prospective tenants
• Maintain organized records of leads, showings, applications, and leasing activity
• Convert qualified leads into completed applications and signed leases
• Assist applicants throughout the application and approval process
• Coordinate lease signings and move-ins
• Maintain accurate property listings and availability information
• Communicate effectively with property managers and other team members
• Travel throughout Baltimore City and the surrounding area to show and inspect rental properties
• Learn and effectively use property management, leasing, communication, and scheduling software
• Develop a strong understanding of our available properties and the neighborhoods in which we operate What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is:
• Sales-oriented and comfortable asking for the application and closing the lease
• Highly responsive to phone calls, texts, emails, and new leads
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively without constant supervision
• Highly organized and capable of managing numerous prospects and appointments simultaneously
• Technologically savvy and comfortable learning new software and applications
• A quick learner who can learn properties, procedures, and leasing requirements quickly
• Professional, personable, and confident when interacting with prospective tenants
• Interested in and knowledgeable about real estate and rental properties
• Familiar with Baltimore City and the surrounding Baltimore area
• Dependable and able to manage their own schedule and follow-up responsibilities Vehicle Requirement A reliable personal vehicle is required for this position.

The Leasing Agent will regularly travel between properties for showings, inspections, move-ins, and other leasing-related activities. A valid driver's license and the ability to reliably travel throughout Baltimore City and the surrounding area are required. Compensation This position offers a combination of: Hourly Wage + Commission for Each Successful Tenant Placement The commission structure provides significant additional earning potential for an individual who is motivated, responsive, and successful at converting leads into signed leases. Who Will Succeed in This Position? This is not a desk-only leasing position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their leads and understands that speed, follow-up, organization, and sales ability are critical to successful leasing. A strong candidate will not need to be constantly reminded to return calls, follow up with prospects, schedule showings, or move applications forward. We want someone who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, and is motivated to get units leased.
