As our portfolio continues to grow across multiple markets, we're looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Leasing Coordinator to help drive occupancy and support our leasing operations. Position Overview The Leasing Coordinator plays a key role in converting prospective renters into residents. This position is responsible for managing prospects throughout the leasing process, providing timely follow-up, coordinating with leasing agents, and ensuring every prospective resident receives outstanding service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Respond promptly to new leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat. Follow up consistently with prospective residents throughout the leasing process. Qualify prospects based on company leasing criteria. Schedule property tours and coordinate with leasing agents. Monitor lead activity and ensure every inquiry receives timely follow-up. Review applications for completeness before submitting them for approval. Assist applicants with questions regarding the leasing process and required documentation. Coordinate lease execution and move-in preparation. Maintain accurate prospect and leasing records in Rentvine and other company systems. Partner with the Leasing Director to identify opportunities to improve lead conversion and occupancy. Escalate maintenance or property concerns that may impact leasing performance. Support pricing updates, listing quality, and marketing efforts as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless resident experience. Meet individual and team leasing performance goals. Qualifications 2+ years of residential leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms. Experience with CRM or property management software is preferred. Experience with Rentvine, RentEngine, or similar leasing platforms is a plus. Preferred Skills Strong attention to detail. Sense of urgency and accountability. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team. Comfortable handling a high volume of leads while maintaining quality customer service. Data-driven mindset with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements. Success in This Role A successful Leasing Coordinator consistently: Responds quickly to new leads. Maintains excellent prospect communication. Helps maximize occupancy by moving applicants efficiently through the leasing pipeline. Keeps accurate records and follows established leasing processes. Works collaboratively with leasing agents, leasing leadership, and operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
