Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney (Mid-Level to Senior)

$270,000-$455,000, based on class year and experience About the Opportunity A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its sophisticated Real Estate Capital Markets practice in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on complex commercial real estate finance transactions while collaborating with an experienced team in a highly regarded practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing lenders and other clients in commercial real estate financing, structured debt transactions, and related real estate matters. This position offers meaningful client interaction, sophisticated deal work, and strong opportunities for long-term professional growth. Key Responsibilities Represent lenders in the origination of commercial mortgage loans and other structured finance transactions. Advise clients on commercial real estate financing and investment matters. Handle workouts and restructurings of distressed commercial real estate loans. Assist with the purchase and sale of commercial real estate assets. Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, transaction agreements, and other related legal documents. Provide strategic legal counsel throughout all phases of complex real estate transactions. Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams to efficiently manage transactions from inception through closing. Qualifications 4-8 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Experience representing lenders in commercial mortgage lending and structured finance transactions. Experience with loan workouts and distressed commercial real estate matters is strongly preferred. Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Outstanding academic credentials. Active Florida Bar license or ability to become licensed in Florida prior to hire. Must reside in or relocate to the Miami, Florida area before the start date. Work Environment This is a hybrid position requiring attorneys to work in the office at least three days per week . Billable Hours Annual Billable Requirement:
