Right-of-Way Agent:

communication, negotiation, organization, persistence, professionalism, understanding property, and the ability to work with people through important decisions. What Is Right-of-Way? Instead of helping someone buy or sell a home, you'll help municipalities, utilities, and other public infrastructure providers acquire the property rights needed to build projects such as water lines, electric facilities, roads, and other critical infrastructure. You'll work directly with property owners while coordinating with engineers, surveyors, appraisers, attorneys, title professionals, and government entities. What You'll Do As you learn the ROW business, your responsibilities may include: Meeting and communicating with property owners Negotiating easements and property acquisitions Securing Right of Entry agreements Reviewing property records, deeds, surveys, and title information Coordinating with surveyors and appraisers Preparing and delivering acquisition documents Helping facilitate real estate closings Maintaining accurate parcel records and project documentation Participating in project meetings with clients, engineers, attorneys, and other professionals Helping move major Texas infrastructure projects from planning to construction You May Be a

Great Fit If You:

Hold an active Texas Real Estate Sales Agent or Broker license Have at least 2 years of real estate, sales, negotiation, or other relevant professional experience Are comfortable talking with property owners and handling difficult conversations Know how to negotiate while maintaining relationships Are organized and good at managing multiple transactions at once Pay attention to details and follow through on commitments Are comfortable working independently while being part of a project team Are proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new technology Are willing to travel throughout West Texas as projects require Previous right-of-way experience is NOT required.
