Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Relocation Agent with at least two years of experience and a strong understanding of the Uniform Relocation Assistance (URA) requirements. The ideal candidate will assist individuals displaced by public or private projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while providing exceptional support throughout the relocation process. Responsibilities Provide relocation and advisory services in accordance with URA guidelines and applicable regulations Conduct interviews with displaced individuals to assess needs and eligibility Explain relocation benefits, rights, and procedures clearly and accurately Assist displaced persons in locating replacement housing Prepare and maintain accurate parcel files and documentation Coordinate displaced and project status with the Project Manager Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local relocation requirements Addresses concerns in a timely manner, documenting all correspondence Prepare claim forms and submissions for Project Manager review with complete supporting documentation Ensure displaced individuals receive benefits and responses in a timely manner Requirements Minimum of two years of relocation experience with URA compliance Strong knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance (URA) regulations for residential, non-residential, and personal property relocations Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple parcel assignments and maintain detailed records Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to self-start and appropriately progress parcel assignments throughout the entirety of the project
