Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Agent to join our vibrant property management team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and expert guide for prospective tenants, helping them discover their ideal living space while ensuring a seamless leasing experience. Your energetic approach and exceptional communication skills will drive leasing success, foster positive relationships, and uphold fair housing regulations. Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available properties, highlighting features and benefits to match their needs. Conduct thorough tenant screenings, including background checks and credit assessments, in compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to legal standards. Market available units through various channels such as online listings, social media, and community outreach to attract diverse applicants. Maintain organized records of all leasing activities, applications, and correspondence using property management software. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance requests and ensure units are move-in ready. Stay informed about local real estate laws, fair housing policies, and market trends to provide accurate guidance to clients. Requirements Proven experience in customer service, sales, or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple applications and leasing documents efficiently. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—to build rapport with clients and team members alike. Administrative experience with proficiency in property management software or related tools is preferred. Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
