Full Job Description Overview:
The Leasing Consultant is an integral role for the overall property performance. The expectations for this position are to market and advertise the community by highlighting features and appealing to potential renters. Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, conducts business in a professional and upbeat manner, is a self-motivator, and possess organizational and articulate communication skills.
Primary Duties:
Meet with potential renters and showcase the property through guided tours Follow up with all prospect leads and successfully convert to a future resident Responsible for completion of all applicant and resident paperwork including processing applications, renters' insurance policies, generating lease documents, assisting with renewals, notice to vacates and move out documents Market the property through various methods including social media posting, outreach efforts and email campaigns. Walk amenities, market ready and show units daily for quality assurance Plan and host monthly resident events Handle resident requests and complaints considerately through appropriate communication channels Possess product knowledge and maintain awareness of online reputation, market conditions, availability, policies and procedures. Conduct weekly market surveys with competing properties. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times. Performs other duties as necessary to meet the needs of upper management, residents, and the property.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver's License Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner Passion for serving others Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends 1-2 years related experience preferred High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required
