The Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate in the Fogelman College of Business & Economics at the University of Memphis is seeking qualified applicants fo a tenure track Professor of Finance position, with teaching duties beginning as soon as possible. This is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment. Hiring is contingent on final budget approval. The Assistant Professor will teach, conduct research, and participate in service leadership primarily at the Memphis Campus, including online though teaching at off-campus sites may be required. The Fogelman College of Business & Economics has become a leading business school in the Southeast. The academic programs of the College are fully accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The College's full-time faculty of 96 serves approximately 3,165 students, with nearly 2,550 undergraduates, 550 master's students, and 65 doctoral students. The Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate includes 13 full-time faculty members in addition to this position.
