Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and dependable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The Leasing Agent is responsible for creating a positive experience for prospective and current residents while helping the property meet its leasing and occupancy goals. This position requires excellent customer service, strong follow-up skills, organization, and a willingness to actively market the property. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable communicating with people in person, over the phone, through text, email, and social media. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to new leasing leads and inquiries promptly and professionally. Answer phone calls, emails, texts, and online inquiries from prospective residents. Schedule and conduct property and apartment tours. Explain available floor plans, rental rates, lease terms, fees, deposits, specials, and community amenities. Follow up consistently with prospective residents until they lease or are no longer interested. Assist applicants with completing applications and submitting required documentation. Process applications and assist with screening and approval procedures according to company policies. Prepare leasing paperwork and assist with the move-in process. Maintain accurate prospect, application, and resident information in property management software. Maintain knowledge of current availability, pricing, specials, floor plans, and upcoming move-in dates. Assist with resident communication and provide excellent customer service to current residents. Receive and properly document resident concerns, maintenance requests, and other communications. Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts. Market the property through social media, outreach marketing, local businesses, employers, community organizations, and other marketing opportunities. Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office, model unit, and tour route. Help ensure the property presents well to prospective residents by reporting cleanliness, landscaping, maintenance, or curb-appeal concerns. Assist with resident events and community activities. Maintain confidentiality of applicant, resident, employee, and company information. Follow Fair Housing laws, company policies, leasing procedures, and applicable landlord-tenant requirements. Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to help ensure units are ready for scheduled move-ins. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Property Manager. Qualifications Previous leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented. Strong sales and follow-up skills. Organized and able to manage multiple prospects and tasks at the same time. Comfortable using computers, email, property management software, and social media. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for marketing and property-related duties.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
