Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing comprehensive property tours and answering all inquiries with enthusiasm. Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including application screening, document preparation, and contract signing using property management tools such as Entrata. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, lease statuses, and property availability through data entry and filing systems. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant laws, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 guidelines during all leasing activities. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate property maintenance requests, unit inspections, and occupancy schedules. Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving tenant concerns while upholding lease terms and legal standards. Upsell available units or amenities to maximize occupancy rates while delivering exceptional customer service via phone etiquette and client communication skills. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using Entrata, OneSite, or similar property management software. Strong knowledge of Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, and Section 8 housing policies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; conflict management experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence. Previous experience managing lease agreements or rental contracts within a property management company environment. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in filing and data entry tasks. Team management skills are desirable for coordinating with other staff members; office experience is preferred.
