In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, legal administrative procedures, and property management tools will ensure a seamless experience for clients while maintaining compliance with fair housing regulations and local landlord-tenant laws. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community environment, foster positive client relationships, and support the overall success of our property portfolio. Duties Greet prospective tenants warmly, answer inquiries via phone and email, and provide detailed information about available units and community amenities Manage lease or rental agreement processes using property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar tools Conduct property tours, upselling features and benefits to encourage lease signings while ensuring client satisfaction Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leasing activity, and legal documentation including contracts and lease agreements Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property readiness and address client concerns related to property maintenance or facilities management Stay informed about Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, and Fair Housing laws to ensure compliance in all leasing activities Assist in budgeting efforts related to leasing operations and contribute to team management by supporting training initiatives or mentoring new staff members Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property management company operations Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and LIHTC compliance Hands-on experience with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person while demonstrating professional office etiquette Demonstrated conflict management skills to resolve tenant concerns diplomatically while maintaining positive relationships Ability to handle data entry, filing, and recordkeeping accurately within office environments using Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software Experience in sales or upselling techniques within a property leasing context; familiarity with client relationship management systems is a plus Join us if you're passionate about creating welcoming communities through exceptional service!
