Job Summary Estate Sale Associate - Setup & Sale-Day Support ETX Liquidation - Longview, TX ETX Liquidation is hiring a dependable, hardworking Estate Sale Associate to help prepare and operate estate sales throughout the East Texas area. This is a hands-on position that combines manual labor, organization, merchandising, and customer service. Responsibilities Sort, clean, organize, and display household merchandise Move furniture, boxes, tools, and other estate contents Set up tables, shelving, signs, and sale areas Research and price merchandise with direction from management Help maintain an organized and presentable sale environment Assist customers and answer basic questions during sale days Monitor merchandise and help prevent theft Help with checkout, wrapping purchases, and loading customer items Break down the sale and assist with remaining merchandise and cleanup Travel to estate-sale locations throughout the East Texas area What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions Comfortable working around customers and handling busy sale days Able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds Willing to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working in homes that may be dusty, hot, or cluttered Available for weekday setup work and estate-sale days, which are commonly Thursday through Saturday Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license Retail, estate-sale, auction, moving, warehouse, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required Knowledge of tools, furniture, antiques, collectibles, or general merchandise is a plus Schedule This is a part-time, as-needed position. Hours will vary based on the estate-sale schedule. Some weeks may include multiple setup days followed by two or three sale days. Applicants must have some weekday and Saturday availability.
