In this vital role, you will support complex real estate transactions, manage legal documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property deals, loan closings, and transactional processes, contributing to the success of our clients' real estate ventures. Responsibilities Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, loan documents, title reports, and closing statements Conduct thorough title searches and coordinate with title companies to verify property ownership and encumbrances Manage the preparation and filing of legal documents using document management systems such as Clio and Smokeball Support project management efforts by tracking transaction milestones, deadlines, and compliance requirements Review contracts and legal documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to procedural standards Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, escrow officers, attorneys, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transaction flow Responsible to provide excellent customer service and constant communication with our clients. Skills Proven experience as a paralegal supporting real estate transactions or loans with strong knowledge of land use laws and property regulations Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw for case law and statutory references Proficiency in legal case management software including Clio and Smokeball; adept at document review and management Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration Knowledge of various legal practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, civil litigation support, and general & commercial litigation is a plus Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for drafting documents and data entry; experienced in proofreading and legal writing; including Word Perfect Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times Effective research skills combined with procedural law knowledge to support complex transactions efficiently Join us in this engaging role where your expertise will drive successful real estate deals while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.
