Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Apartment Leasing Agent and become the key to creating exceptional living experiences! In this energetic role, you will leverage your property management expertise to connect prospective residents with their ideal homes, ensuring a seamless leasing process. Your passion for customer service, combined with your knowledge of real estate administrative procedures and fair housing regulations, will drive occupancy rates and foster positive relationships within our community. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing detailed tours and comprehensive information about available units and community amenities Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, utilizing Yardi and OneSite property management software to track leads and lease activity Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations during all leasing activities. Prepare, review, and negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy Conduct thorough tenant screening, including background checks, credit reports, and verification of income and references Handle conflict management professionally by addressing tenant concerns promptly and effectively Maintain organized records through data entry, filing, and office administrative tasks using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Upsell available units or amenities to prospective tenants to maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities Coordinate property maintenance requests with facilities management teams to ensure a well-maintained community environment Provide excellent customer service via phone etiquette, in-person interactions, and written communication to foster lasting tenant relationships Requirements Proven experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and lease contracts Familiarity Fair Housing regulations Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite and Bluemoon.com or similar platforms Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, conflict management, and customer relationship management Strong organizational skills including data entry, filing, and office administration experience Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices is a plus Excellent phone etiquette coupled with professional communication skills Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Legal administrative experience is desirable for managing contracts and compliance documentation Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for property management meets your dedication to exceptional service!
