Position Summary The Leasing Consultant will receive general supervision and direction from the Community Manager. The Leasing Consultant will comply with established policies and procedures and will not act contrary to such guidelines without the Community Manager's approval. Qualifications:
Responsibilities Achieve and maintain as close to 100% occupancy as possible by presenting the property and its amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants. Prepare reports related to occupancy. Advertise available units using a variety of media and promotional materials. Determine the needs and economic viability of prospective customers. Confirm rental application data and personal references. Stay knowledgeable about the surrounding properties and local market conditions. Attend mandatory meetings and seminars. Perform site errands as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Community Manager and/or TMAM Management. Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in English. Basic arithmetic skills. Must have reliable vehicle transportation and a valid driver's license, with a driving record acceptable to TMAM. Working knowledge of real estate laws and leasing practices. Strong marketing and sales skills with the ability to effectively promote available units. Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
