Job Description

Full-Time Leasing Agent A successful Property Management company is seeking a floating Leasing Agent to help manage apartment communities located in Ferndale and Bellingham. This position requires a proactive, energetic, organized, reliable Leasing Agent to work and help manage day to day functions of the apartment communities.
Responsibilities include:
  • Professional attire and immaculate hygiene required
  • Daily inspections of all the community grounds and facilities
  • Maintaining property and resident files
  • Weekly property status reporting
  • Responds to inquiries, showing apartments and executing rental agreements
  • Collect, post and deposit rent/security deposits and other community income
  • Adept in accounting and office management
  • Help organize resident activities, prepare newsletters, and maintain tenant loyalty & retention programs
Experience and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 1-year general office, sales & retention programs
  • Successful closing and rental experience
  • Basic understanding of maintenance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products (outlook, word, excel & publisher)
  • Eagerness to learn
  • At least one year previous leasing experience
  • Drug & smoke free workplace Must be able to pass a background check including DMV, credit, criminal, and drug screen.
Must have a reliable vehicle, with insurance, registration, and a valid driver's license.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
