As a Rental Coordinator you will be a primary point of contact for our customers. As Dispatcher you will strategically route, organize and facilitate trucking. This is a challenging and fast paced position that demands the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and one who can identify opportunities and build relationships. What you'll do Essential job duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: Build strong customer relationships. Coordinate and dispatch drivers for equipment deliveries, pickups, and transfers to ensure timely and efficient service. Communicate delivery schedules, route changes, and special customer requirements to drivers and team. Utilize a range of technical tools and software to facilitate truck routing and scheduling software, fleet management systems, and GPS tracking Support emergency and same-day delivery requests while balancing existing customer commitments and operational priorities Administer, maintain, and manage all rental contracts, files, reservations, and additional documents Schedule the delivery, pick up, and transportation of equipment and advise drivers of all logistic requirements Inspect and document returning equipment and applicable accessories Document all damages on returned equipment and advise customers of any applicable costs Assist to load and unload equipment and applicable accessories from the customers' vehicle(s) as needed Identify new business opportunities from current or prospect customers Inform the equipment service shop of any equipment malfunctions or repairs Knowledge & Experience Requirements Must have 1 or more years of Equipment dispatch experience or Equipment rental experience Experience with organizing, coordinating & dispatching delivery trucks Must be fluent in English (spoken and written), bilingual in Spanish a plus! Must have a valid Class C Driver License Must be age 21 or older Familiar with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment Work conditions and physical requirements This work is physically demanding and will require a considerable degree of physical strength and stamina.
