Duties Greet customers warmly, assess their rental needs, and provide detailed information about available vehicles and services Manage inventory control by tracking vehicle availability, performing manual handling of vehicles, and maintaining accurate data entry records Operate standard passenger cars safely for test drives or customer use, adhering to all safety protocols Conduct public speaking engagements to explain rental procedures, vehicle features, and promotional offers effectively Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Word for documentation and reporting purposes; maintain organized records of rentals and customer interactions Assist in retail sales efforts by promoting additional services or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue Handle heavy lifting when moving or preparing vehicles for customer use; ensure proper maintenance checks are completed before rentals Engage in phone communication with clients using proper phone etiquette to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, or follow up on service requests Support marketing initiatives by promoting rental specials or seasonal campaigns through direct customer interactions or digital channels Collaborate with team members to ensure inventory management is accurate and that all rental processes run smoothly Qualifications Proven experience in automotive rental industry or retail sales preferred; strong background in sales management is a plus Multilingual or bilingual skills highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; confident public speaking abilities required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry systems; technical proficiency necessary for daily operations Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control procedures essential for maintaining accurate vehicle records Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely; valid driver's license with clean driving record required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with automotive maintenance basics and manual handling techniques preferred Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with customers; retail math skills helpful for upselling opportunities Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude; excellent phone etiquette is essential Join us as a Loaner/Rental Agent where your enthusiasm, technical skills, and dedication will help create memorable experiences for our customers while driving our success forward!
