Summary of Primary Functions :
Dobbs Equipment is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Rental Coordinator to support the rental of John Deere equipment and allied products across our network. This position serves as a key link between customers, sales, and operations by coordinating rental activities, administering contracts, sourcing equipment, and ensuring a seamless rental experience from start to finish.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. (Other duties may be assigned) Coordinate and administer rental agreements for John Deere equipment and allied products Source and allocate equipment to meet customer rental needs while optimizing fleet availability Ensure all customer documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company requirements Manage rental contract administration, including extensions, updates, and contract closeouts Ensure accurate and timely invoices of all rental transactions, verify rates, charges and supporting documentation to maintain billing accuracy and customer satisfaction Monitor and manage rental fleet utilization, identifying opportunities to increase equipment productivity Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to support rental inventory accuracy
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in rental operations, equipment coordination, customer service, fleet management, or a related field. Education, Skill, and/or
Experience Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer focused approach Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records, contracts, inventory and invoicing Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need the following: The ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and the ability to focus on a computer screen for extended periods of time.
