Rental Agent / Customer Service Counter Representative Avis Budget Group - Lakeland Linder Airport, FL Job Summary Avis Budget Group is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Rental Agent / Customer Service Representative to join our Lakeland Linder Airport rental location. This position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience while assisting with rental reservations, vehicle pickups and returns, upgrades, and ancillary products. Schedule can vary based on rental volume. Weekend availability required. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Process rental reservations, agreements, pickups, and returns Explain rental options, policies, and available products Offer vehicle upgrades and ancillary products Answer customer questions and resolve issues professionally Coordinate with the washbay/lot attendant to ensure vehicles are ready Inspect and document vehicle condition when needed Move vehicles when necessary Maintain accurate customer and rental records Keep the counter and customer area clean and organized Follow Avis Budget Group policies and operating procedures Qualifications Valid driver's license to operate company vehicle and good driving record Reliable transportation Excellent customer-service and communication skills Basic computer skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Weekend availability required Employer conducts Screenings Preferred Experience Rental car experience Customer service Hotel or front-desk experience Hospitality Automotive experience Sales or retail experience What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, friendly, and comfortable working directly with customers.
