Full Job Description Summary of Position:
▪ Maintains day-to-day understanding of departmental needs; supports the accomplishment of daily goals and tasks. ▪ Maintains inventory; responsible for quantity and quality of all items. ▪ Must be able to work 8-5pm Monday through Friday. ▪ Not a climate-controlled job.Duties & Responsibilities:
Inventory- Maintaining inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Meeting warehouse financial standards by maintaining inventory information (Excel) identifying purchasing opportunities, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending and implementing improvements.
- Delivering supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Preserving equipment by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
