Rental Coordinator (Construction equipment and tools)

A-1 Rental, a locally owned, general equipment and tool rental company is looking for an experienced Rental Coordinator to work at the counter and provide exceptional customer service. This position will answer phones, write contracts, explain the operation of the equipment with customers, as well as load and unload equipment. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable of the day-to-day functions of a rental store. A-1 Rental services homeowners and contractors with equipment for all types of projects ranging from lawn care to major construction jobs. Regardless of the size of the project, from a small remodel to a major building site, A-1 Rental provides dependable and reliable equipment. We take pride in providing the best rental experience. As a Rental Coordinator, the key duties include: Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in-person. Answer questions and provide information to customers. Prepare contracts for customers. Work with the Yard Worker to prepare the equipment for rental. Explain the proper use of the equipment to customers. Safely load and unload the equipment. Other duties as needed. What the successful candidate will have: 2+ years experience in the rental business is ideal. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Proficient computer skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Understanding of equipment and tools. Proficient with inventory control. Ability to multi-task and problem solve. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
