Full Job Description Returns Representative I Location:
Woodridge, IL Pay Rate:
$18/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Top 3 Skills Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel At least 1 year of SAP experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Position Overview The Returns Representative is responsible for coordinating and managing product returns from start to finish. This position ensures return requests are processed accurately and efficiently while providing a smooth experience for both internal and external customers. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up skills, and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Process vendor debit authorization reports by verifying returns shipped through UPS and other common carriers Follow up on updated return authorizations before products are physically returned Monitor and follow up on pending return authorizations to ensure timely completion Run reports to identify new quality notifications and submit daily authorization forms to vendors Update quality notifications with vendor return authorization information Process Non-Stock labels for internal and external customers Communicate with internal departments and manufacturers to coordinate and complete returns Manage priorities effectively, meet individual goals, and work collaboratively with the distribution team Support the company's "No Hassle" return experience while maintaining awareness of financial considerations Maintain the returns database and ensure all information is accurate and up to date Identify, communicate, and resolve discrepancies as needed Operate standard office equipment, including copiers, OnBase scanners, and computer systems Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of customer service experience or relevant transferable experience Customer-focused mindset with strong internet navigation and research skills Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to effectively manage and follow established workflow processes At least 1 year of SAP experience Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in restaurant supply or commercial food service Experience working with product returns, vendor communications, or distribution operations About Trova Advisory Group Trova Advisory Group specializes in delivering a comprehensive array of staffing solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various sectors.
