- 5:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_179366 Spherion has an immediate opening for a Fishing and Rental Coordinator within the oil & gas industry in Broussard, LA.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00 pm and 24 hr. On-Call 1 week per monthPay:
$27-35/hr. Depending onExperience Responsibilities:
- Receives orders from customers and Fishing Tool Supervisors and directs shop hands in getting the jobs done by organizing their tasks in filling the orders and making deliveries.
- Prepares, prioritizes and processes job orders, assisting with pulling orders from stock, checking to ensure equipment is correct and supervising shop hands to check in equipment when returned.
- Keeps logs of calls/orders and tools and equipment.
- Determines equipment needs by obtaining appropriate part(s) according to order specifications. ...
- Gathers serial numbers and descriptions for parts and prepares job tickets, including overseeing inventory control in RTMS as necessary.
- Makes necessary arrangements for shipping and delivery to ensure orders are properly handled.
- Supervises the process of checking equipment to ensure they meet company standards and API standards, and they are in proper operating condition.
- Maintains positive and effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Working hours:
7:00 AM- 5:00
PM Skills:
- Experience as a Coordinator for fishing tools.
- Sales experience is a plus.
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- At least 2 years of work experience in oilfield services industry (OFS) coordination and dispatch.
- Must have knowledge of downhole Fishing and Rental tools.
- Good communication skills with both internal and external customers
- Basic knowledge of the use of computer.
- Good customer service skills with the ability to deal with people with business courtesy and manners.
- Ability to direct the work of others and be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Available to be at work location at night and on weekends when needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
