Rental Sales Agent - Holland, MI (Independent Avis Budget Location) About the Role We're looking for a reliable and motivated Rental Sales Agent to join our team in Holland, Michigan. As the face of our local Avis Budget location, you'll handle customer rentals at the counter, upsell products and services, answer inquiries, and help maintain vehicle cleanliness between rentals. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, sales, and light vehicle prep — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to stay active. What You'll Do Greet and assist customers at the rental counter Assess customer rental needs by actively listening and asking the right questions Recommend and explain add-ons (coverage, fuel plans, etc.) to maximize customer value Accurately complete bookings and rental agreements using our reservation system Answer general customer questions and resolve minor issues in person or by phone Assist with light cleaning and prepping of vehicles between rentals when needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional front counter and workspace What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Availability to work 4-5 days per week, including weekends Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Comfortable using computers and learning new systems quickly Previous experience in retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to follow procedures consistently Willingness to jump in and help with basic car cleaning when needed What You'll Get Hourly pay + bonuses for performance and upselling Employee discounts on Avis Budget rentals Full hands-on training provided on all systems and procedures Supportive team environment with room to grow About Us We're a locally owned Avis Budget rental agency in Holland, MI — backed by a global brand but operated like a tight-knit small business.
