Job Description
Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Returns Clerk is responsible for processing and tracking returned product to ensure accurate documentation, inventory integrity, and timely resolution. This role supports operational efficiency by coordinating returns, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining clear communication across departments.Essential Functions:
Process and document all returned product accurately within WMS and internal systems. Verify returned items against documentation and identify discrepancies such as damages, shortages, or overages. Coordinate with operations and inventory teams to ensure proper disposition of returned product. Maintain accurate records of returns, adjustments, and inventory movements. Communicate issues related to returns to leadership and assist with resolution. Support inventory control processes including adjustments and reporting. Generate and maintain reports related to returns activity and trends. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed in accordance with company standards. Assist with audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation as needed. Provide general administrative and clerical support to warehouse operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.Qualifications & Experience:
Clerical, administrative, or warehouse experience preferred. SAP experience is preferred. Previous experience in a distribution or logistics environment a plus. Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and warehouse management systems. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills.Education & Certifications:
