Cargoos Logistics is looking for an experienced Chicago drayage / intermodal professional who already knows the market and wants to build with a brokerage that can move fast. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who already understands the operational reality of Chicago drayage and can help us grow the business the right way.
What we need:
Real experience in Chicago intermodal / drayage Familiarity with Joliet / Elwood, Bedford Park, and Chicago-area ramps Understanding of chassis, pre-pulls, empty returns, free time, demurrage, per diem, and warehouse appointments Existing relationships with dray carriers, warehouses, transload partners, or shippers Ability to both sell and manage freight Strong communication and ownership when a move gets messy What you'll do: Build and grow drayage / intermodal business in Chicago Develop shipper accounts needing rail drayage, transload, and follow-on truckload Work with local dray carriers and warehouse partners Price freight intelligently and protect margin Own loads from pickup through delivery Help Cargoos build a real Chicago drayage operation What we are offering: Commission-only role Strong upside for the right person Flexibility and autonomy Ability to grow a book inside a brokerage that already moves freight Opportunity to expand into dray + transload + truckload continuation Who this is for: This is for someone who already has experience and wants a serious opportunity.
