The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in large enterprise environments, takes ownership of assigned work from start to finish, and is passionate about helping customers achieve successful outcomes. This individual will be driven to continuously learn new technologies, adapt to evolving customer needs, and deliver exceptional service while working independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted technical advisor, driving successful customer outcomes through proactive engagement and solution delivery. Independently manage and execute technical projects, taking ownership from planning through completion with minimal oversight. Support customers in large, distributed enterprise environments across multiple business units and stakeholder groups. Gather, analyze, and communicate technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Set clear expectations, provide regular updates, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all customer interactions. Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize storage, data protection, virtualization, and cloud solutions. Leverage automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining the ability to work autonomously. Continuously expand technical knowledge and maintain expertise in emerging technologies. Required Qualifications Extensive enterprise storage and data management experience with a leading enterprise storage platform (EMC, Pure, NetApp, etc.) in SAN, NAS, and object models. Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher/RKE2, etc.). Strong experience with StorageClass, PV, PVC, StatefulSet, DaemonSet, CRD, and Kubernetes Operators. Strong expertise in K8s CLI such as kubectl. Deep understanding of CSI usage and functions for external storage systems. Strong Linux systems administration experience, preferably RHEL. Experience designing, deploying, and operating data protection and disaster recovery solutions in an enterprise environment. Experience designing and managing solutions in a hybrid cloud environment with a leading hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Preferred Qualifications Expertise designing, deploying, and operating Pure Storage solutions. Expertise designing, deploying, and operating Portworx. Strong automation experience with Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
