Job Description
Position Summary The Rental Return Agent provides superior, friendly, and efficient service throughout the rental car process and assists customers with the rental return process. Key Responsibilities Greet all customers as they arrive Assist customers with luggage Advise and review rental charges and provide an accurate receipt Inquire about service and satisfaction Inspect the vehicle and determine the fuel tank level Complete a service alert for any mechanical or body damage reported by customers Identify vehicles on hold for turnback, time, mileage, recall, or other locks, and verify their movement to the proper lot location Assist the service department with vehicle cleaning as needed Keep the lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow Maintain knowledge of rental/return documents, fuel services, surcharges, and optional coverage Understand the damage/loss reporting procedure Perform additional related duties as required or assigned Qualifications Required Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills Able to work all required shifts Ability to solve problems with precision, speed, and a positive attitude Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Enjoys working closely with fellow team members and customers Management Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position reports to the Location Manager.
