The Marketplace by Hatching Hope is more than just a store, it's a mission in motion. As the retail arm of Hatching Hope, a 501(c)(3) disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization, every sale helps fund vital programs that provide comfort, recovery essentials, and hope to families who have lost everything in disasters.

Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you won't just be helping customers, you'll be part of a purpose- driven environment where every transaction helps rebuild lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately Share our mission and impact with customers to foster community support Assist in receiving, sorting, and pricing donated items Assist in posting new arrivals and other content to social media Support store events and fundraising initiatives Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to uphold our mission

Qualifications:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A heart for service and a passion for helping others Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings
