Job Summary Suddenly Structures is looking for a motivated, people-first sales professional to work our lot in Calera, Alabama. We sell high-quality sheds, carports, and portable buildings — and our customers come to us. No cold calling. No door knocking. Just great conversations, real needs, and commissions you earn. Duties What You'll Be Doing Meet and greet customers on our lot and guide them through our product lineup Listen to what customers need and match them to the right building, size, and features Walk customers through pricing, financing, and rent-to-own options Post and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace and other social platforms Follow up with leads and past customers to close deals Keep product knowledge sharp and the lot looking its best Hit weekly and monthly sales targets — and then beat them Experience A natural people person who genuinely enjoys talking with customers Proven track record in commission sales — any industry counts (cars, roofing, real estate, insurance, RVs, pools, home improvement, fencing) Active on social media and comfortable marketing on Facebook — posting, running Facebook Marketplace listings, engaging with comments, and generating leads online is a real part of this job Experience with Facebook Marketplace is a strong plus — we move product there and need someone who knows how to work it Self-motivated and accountable — you don't need to be managed, you manage yourself Honest, punctual, and dependable Comfortable working outdoors in Alabama weather Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Weekend availability a plus — schedule is flexible Experience in portable buildings, sheds, construction, or outdoor structures Familiarity with rent-to-own programs Strong social media following or marketing skills Existing connections in Shelby County or surrounding communities Uncapped commission — every sale goes directly to your income A product people need — storage demand doesn't slow down Direct access to ownership — no corporate red tape Flexible schedule built around results, not clock-punching Opportunity to grow with us as we expand Part of one of the largest portable building dealer networks in the country
