Note:

Shifts are 10am-5pm and include 1-2 Saturdays a month Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs and increase sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and well-stocked, including inventory management and stock replenishment Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately Support cashiering duties with accurate retail math calculations for transactions and discounts Assist with basic store operations such as inventory counts, stock rotation, and merchandising updates Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in guiding team members or managing tasks Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong communication skills are essential for engaging customers and collaborating with team members Knowledge of phone etiquette ensures professional interactions both in person and over the phone Social media marketing a plus Great image and knowledge of basic current fashion trends This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to work in a fun clothing consignment shop in downtown Fairhope.
