Pet Supplies Plus in Guntersville is looking for friendly, dependable Sales Associates who enjoy working with people, staying active, and helping neighbors find the right products for their pets. This is a hands-on retail position where no two days are exactly the same. You'll help customers, stock shelves, care for store animals, keep the store clean and organized, and help create the welcoming experience our neighbors expect. What You'll Do Greet neighbors and provide friendly, helpful customer service Help customers find products and make recommendations based on their pet's needs Operate the register and accurately handle transactions Promote current sales, promotions, grooming, self-wash, and other store services Help build the basket by suggesting helpful add-on items Stock shelves, work freight, and keep products faced and organized Help maintain full shelves and report out-of-stocks or inventory concerns Keep the store clean, recovered, and ready for customers Assist with price changes, signage, promotional displays, and seasonal resets Help care for animals in the store, including feeding, cleaning habitats, and monitoring their well-being Follow safety, animal care, loss prevention, and company procedures Work as part of a team to complete daily tasks and store priorities What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly and comfortable talking with customers Dependable and willing to work as part of a team Able to stay busy and take initiative Comfortable working around pets and store animals Willing to learn about pet products and services Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous retail or pet experience is helpful, but not required.
