Duties Assist customers with product selections by demonstrating features and benefits through engaging product demos Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and organize products to maintain an attractive store appearance Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Utilize strong phone etiquette when answering questions or assisting customers remotely Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and monolingual contexts to serve diverse customers effectively Experience in grocery store or retail sales environments is preferred Ability to conduct product demos confidently and persuasively to promote sales Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management best practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance sales performance Basic math skills necessary for cashiering, balancing registers, and inventory counts Prior supervising experience is a plus for leadership responsibilities in the store Join us and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in retail!
