In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales, with the ability to engage customers effectively. We need candidates that are able to work weekends. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate items. Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining phone etiquette. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment. Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering functions is essential. Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
