The Consignment Bar is looking for a reliable, outgoing, and creative Retail & Social Media Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service and day-to-day retail responsibilities with social media content creation. We are looking for someone who enjoys fashion, loves working with people, understands social media, and thrives in a busy environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who can see what needs to be done and jump in, while also bringing creativity and personality to our online presence. Responsibilities Retail & Customer Service Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive customer service Assist customers with merchandise, sizing, styling, and general questions Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately complete transactions Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and visually appealing Restock and organize merchandise throughout the day Help maintain fitting rooms and customer areas Assist with daily opening and closing responsibilities Help with merchandise preparation, tagging, inventory, and other store tasks as needed Social Media & Content Create engaging photo and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms Film and edit Reels, short-form videos, Stories, and other content Highlight new arrivals, outfits, brands, promotions, and what is happening in the store Be comfortable appearing in photos or videos when needed Help brainstorm creative content ideas and social media trends that fit The Consignment Bar's brand Take clear, attractive photos and videos of merchandise Assist with maintaining a consistent and active social media presence What We're Looking For Friendly, dependable, and comfortable talking with customers Strong communication skills Genuine interest in fashion, retail, and social media Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reels, and current social media trends Comfortable taking photos and filming/editing short-form videos Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant direction Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and organized Willing to learn and take feedback Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous retail, customer service, photography, content creation, or social media experience is a plus This Position Is a Great Fit for Someone Who... Enjoys a workday that is rarely the same from one hour to the next. You may be helping a customer find an outfit, organizing new inventory, filming a Reel, photographing new arrivals, checking someone out, and then jumping into the next task. This is not a social-media-only position . Retail and customer service are an important part of the job, and all team members help with the day-to-day needs of the store. At the same time, we are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about content creation and can bring fresh ideas to our social media rather than simply waiting to be told exactly what to post. Schedule This is an in-person position at The Consignment Bar in Benton, Arkansas. Applicants should have reliable transportation and dependable availability during scheduled shifts, including Saturdays as needed.
