Job Description

Overview Full-time entry level assistant golf professional role at Mystic Creek Golf Club for a motivated individual seeking to contribute to a positive member and guest experience while growing knowledge of golf club operations. The position is intended for someone who wants to develop into a Head Golf Professional within 2-3 years and includes training and mentorship from two PGA Professionals with extensive golf operations experience. Schedule includes 5-day work weeks in the off-season and up to 6-day work weeks during peak season based on club schedule. Experience Required Motivated and hardworking individual Interested in growing knowledge of golf club operations Desire to develop into a Head Golf Professional in the next 2-3 years Must have some level of golf playing ability Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional service to members and guests at all times Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening and closing duties Support outside operations with 2-3 shifts per week, including bag drop and cart setup Assist in planning and execution of golf tournaments and club events Participate in merchandise operations including ordering, receiving, displaying, and inventory control Engage with members through regular play and relationship building Receive mentorship and training in teaching and club repair, including gripping and re-shafting Learn and utilize Gallus Golf tournament software Benefits Full playing and practice privileges Healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match for eligible associates age 19 and older Paid time off and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria
