Verde Valley Sanctuary is seeking a Thrift Store Assistant for its award-winning Twice Nice Thriftique in Sedona, Arizona. The ideal individual will be passionate about working in retail services while advancing Verde Valley Sanctuary's mission of providing safety, services, and comfort to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Schedule:

Friday- Sunday 20-25 hours/week (schedule is estimated and may change based on the needs of the store)

JOB SUMMARY

The Twice Nice Thrift Store Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality customer and retail services while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Verde Valley Sanctuary. This position is responsible for first-class customer service, cashiering, assisting with sorting and organizing donations, storefront arrangement and upkeep, and pricing merchandise. What You Will Do:

Help customers with purchases and answer questions about merchandise or store procedures in a professional and courteous manner. Assist donors with donation drop-offs and processing donations in an efficient manner. Be a passionate advocate for Verde Valley Sanctuary's mission, and vision, and contribute positively to the culture of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Arizona driver's license and insurance or access to reliable transportation. Ability to pass Verde Valley Sanctuary's background check process.

PREFERRED

One or more years of experience in a retail/sales environment. One or more years of thrift store experience within a human services agency. Bilingual English/Spanish.
