We're known for our colorful fabric selection (especially our batiks!), creative atmosphere, and friendly, helpful team. We are a certified BERNINA dealer and also carry Q'nique and Janome machines, offering a wide range of options for sewists of all levels. We are proud to be Arizona's exclusive Q'nique dealer. With an experienced on-site technician, we're able to service and support machines right here in the shop. We strive to make our space feel like a home-away-from-home for anyone who loves sewing—or wants to learn. Whether customers are picking out fabrics, buying a machine, or taking a class, we're here to help them feel inspired and supported. Retail Associate / Customer Service We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our quilt shop! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a creative, welcoming environment. While sewing or quilting experience is a plus, it's not required—we're happy to teach you! The most important part of this role is providing excellent customer service and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Greet customers and assist them in finding items throughout the store Operate the register and handle transactions Count and balance the register at the beginning and end of each day Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries Help sign customers up for classes and events Check in sewing machines for service and assist with related questions Take inquiries about sewing machines and products Assist with inventory and restocking as needed Perform light daily cleaning (such as spot vacuuming and tidying) Offer basic guidance to customers with fabric selection and project ideas

What We're Looking For:

Friendly, positive personality with a willingness to help others Strong communication and basic organizational skills Dependable and able to multitask in a retail environment Willingness to learn about quilting, sewing, and our products Sewing or quilting experience is a bonus, but not required A creative eye for color, pattern, or design is highly valued to help customers with fabric coordination or quilt layout ideas

Schedule:

Approximately 32+ hours per week, 4 days per week Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage: $15.15 - $17 per/hour We offer flexible compensation based on your experience and the skills you bring to the team.
