In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing merchandising, stocking, and retail sales activities. A passion for the marine industry and boating knowledge is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to assist customers and contribute to a knowledgeable and engaging shopping experience. Duties Assist customers by answering questions and providing product recommendations related to marine and boating supplies. Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays to enhance the shopping environment. Stock shelves regularly, ensuring products are properly arranged and accessible. Conduct inventory cycle counts accurately to monitor stock levels and identify discrepancies. Put away incoming inventory efficiently, ensuring proper placement and labeling. Update store price labels to reflect current pricing and promotional offers. Support overall store operations through active engagement in merchandising, stocking, and sales activities. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and moving inventory. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. A passion for the marine industry or boating knowledge is highly desirable to better assist customers and share product expertise. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
