$17.00 to $24.00 / hr.Summary:
Responsible stocking of designated products to meet objectives for department sales, margins, inventory turns, and customer satisfaction. Responsible to stock department products and to provide excellent customer service to shoppers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Customer Service- Greet and offer assistance to customers in a prompt and friendly manner Know product locations to find products for customers through the co-op Study and gain knowledge about products in the department, including product preparation and related foods Locate a knowledgeable person to provide information to customers when necessary. - Price mark individual products before moving them to sales floor, if needed Report inventory problems to supervisor Stock products assuring new products are stocked behind available products on display Dust and wipe clean shelves, cases and products. Merchandising
- Follow current Merchandising Policy Plan and maintain attractive, fully stocked, faced, and rotated sections. Give stocking priorities to Receiver for assignment to stockers, when not stocking the section personally Ensure accurate, uniform, current product and shelf signage Stock in all areas of the store as needed Department Maintenance
- Open boxes for pricing and stocking safely, not cutting products or stocker Stack cases safely when creating a case stack so products are easily seen Clean any spills or messes in the store Remove damaged, out of date, or spoiled product Maintain clear pathways in aisles when stocking Wash hands frequently Wear protective clothing, as necessary, including gloves, boots, shoes, heavy aprons, coats, etc.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Center Store Manager Attend department and storewide meetings.
