Job Description

Sales Associate (Part-Time - Business Development) Homewatch CareGivers of Auburn-Lincoln Serving Auburn, Lincoln, Loomis, Grass Valley, and the surrounding communities. Make Every Life You Touch Better. At Homewatch CareGivers of Auburn-Lincoln, our mission is simple: to make every life we touch better. That mission starts before someone ever becomes our client — with the relationships you build in this community. We're a locally owned home care agency looking for a personable, driven Sales Associate who wants to help families find us right when they need us most. This is a part-time, field-based role built around a focused list of local senior living communities, rehab facilities, and referral partners — not a wide-territory grind. Because the families and referral partners you meet are trusting us with real decisions about a loved one's care, reliability, follow-through, and professionalism matter. If you know how to earn trust and keep your word, we'd love to meet you. Why Join Our Team?
  • Competitive pay: $24-$28/hour based on experience, plus bonus opportunities for every new client your outreach brings in
  • Mileage reimbursed for local travel
  • A flexible, field-based schedule — about 20-25 hours/week, built around three days out in the community
  • A focused, manageable territory — real relationships, not a three-county driving marathon
  • Reports to the President— no corporate layers, decisions happen fast
  • Real opportunity for growth as our agency expands — be part of the team from the ground floor
  • Recognition for the relationships and referrals you bring in
  • Positive, respectful, mission-driven culture What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with senior living communities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health and hospice agencies, elder law attorneys, and senior placement professionals across our Auburn-Lincoln-Grass Valley territory
  • Conduct in-person tours and visits with target accounts and identify the right contacts at each one
  • Develop one or two close "power partner" relationships (e.g., a home health or hospice agency) through coordinated, reciprocal outreach
  • Deliver brief educational presentations to staff at partner organizations
  • Represent Homewatch CareGivers at local networking events and community activities
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, contacts, referrals, and follow-up
  • Follow up promptly on inbound referrals and help convert them into client consultations Every relationship you build is a chance to bring a family peace of mind right when they need it most. What We're Looking For
  • Compassionate about seniors and genuinely interested in helping families navigate a hard decision
  • Personable, self-directed, and reliable with follow-through
  • Comfortable with regular local travel to a focused, manageable list of accounts — this is a relationship-building role, not a wide-territory driving role
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Experience in home care, senior services, or healthcare-related sales or community outreach strongly preferred Qualifications
  • Reliable vehicle, valid California driver's license, and proof of insurance
  • Comfortable using a phone and basic CRM/tracking tools
  • Existing relationships with senior living communities, SNFs, or home health/hospice organizations in the Placer/Nevada County area are a plus Join Our Team At Homewatch CareGivers, you'll be part of a team that values compassion, accountability, and excellence.
We invest in the people who help us reach families before they need us most. If you're ready to build a rewarding role around real relationships and meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today!
