We need additional staff to support our patients! Retail Eyewear Associate Seeking experienced or entry-level retail eyewear associate, familiar with professional etiquette and conduct. Wage offer will be dependent on relevant work experience and/or optician certification. Entry level pay range is $17.50-18.00 for well-qualified individuals. Prior experience in hospitality, customer service and/or retail sales is helpful. Licensed and/or experienced optician is $18.45-21.50 depending on prior work experience. Bilingual is a strong plus. Busy optometry office needs immediate assistance to fit and measure patients for prescription eyewear, help select appropriate optical frames for a patient's prescription, educate patients on their prescription, and learn how to calculate their totals due, record payments and order lenses from the optical lab. Must be compliant with established company sales protocols including education scripts. Excellent attitude, enthusiasm and professional customer rapport is required. Candidates must display and understanding and commitment to promoting quality over cost, and to protect the practice and team's professionalism and financial bottom line. Accuracy, compliance and an active mentality to minimize waste of resources is critical to our workflow. Employees may be cross-trained for front desk patient check-in and back-office medical intake, depending on company needs. Good candidates must be articulate, reliable, prompt and professional with a cheerful attitude and strong work ethic. Must be available to be work between 8:30-6 M-F and 1-2 Saturdays per month 9-3 as needed. Must have reliable transportation. Excellent attendance and punctuality is required for this position. Employees may be required to work rotating shifts at 2 or more locations depending on company needs. All of our offices are within a 15 mile radius of Beaumont (including Moreno Valley and Calimesa).
