This role is for an experienced, high-performing jewelry professional who thrives on closing high-end sales and consistently ranks in the top bracket of their sales team. Of the company's 22 current employees, the average tenure is 19 years — the store strives to take care of its employees like family. This is a high-end luxury store in the Silicon Valley, with its own in-house manufacturing — the team includes five jewelers on premises, and the store is known throughout the area for its custom work. In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with loose diamonds and gemstones, take part in designing one-of-a-kind pieces, and build lasting relationships with a high-end clientele. What You'll Do
  • Luxury jewelry sales, consistently performing in the top tier of the sales team
  • Facilitate customers' full range of jewelry needs: repairs, appraisals, gemstone education
  • Guide clients through the custom design process — from initial concept and wax mold review to final presentation
  • Follow up with clients with punctual updates on any ongoing order, repair, or appraisal
  • Handle high-value and VIP client relationships, including private appointments and by-request service
  • Assist newer associates with turnovers on high-end or complex sales when needed and serve as a resource and informal mentor to junior Sales Associates on product knowledge and client handling
  • Maintain expert-level product knowledge across stones, metals, and current jewelry trends
  • Provide input on inventory and buying decisions based on client demand and sales trends What they are looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in the jewelry industry with a proven track record as a top producer
  • Strong knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry
  • Polished professional image
  • Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic and works well with others
  • Career-driven mindset — someone looking to build a career path toward store leadership/management
  • Graduate Gemologist (GG) credential a plus, but not required
  • Fluent Mandarin speakers strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation:
$90,000-$125,000+, based on experience, non-commission role Benefits
