Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee and assist in maintaining cleanliness of outlet. Ensure coverage of the entrance, greeting arriving guests and thanking those that are leaving. Assist with special event set-up, such as skirting buffet or inserting menu cards. Answer the telephone, take reservations and give directions to restaurant. Resolve guest problems whenever possible and direct communication with manager. Assist guests with their coats and hats. Ensure that guest bathrooms are maintained at all times. Bring guests' needs to the attention of appropriate dining room staff or management. Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures. Absolutely Required Skills Ability to maintain professional demeanor in stressful situations. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with guests and co-workers. Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
