Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gardening tools, plants, floral arrangements, and outdoor maintenance products. Provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, plant identification, and horticulture best practices. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and stocking to enhance the shopping experience. Answer customer inquiries via phone communication and in person, ensuring clear and helpful information delivery. Support inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock checks, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized. Assist with floral design projects or plant arrangements when needed, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. Qualifications Previous outdoor work experience or background in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions. Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, lawn care techniques, and floral arrangement is preferred. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain an inviting store environment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting while providing outstanding customer service.
