Women's Fashion Sales Associate - Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair . Oct 5th and 6th Karim Collection Manhattan Beach, CA Job Details Temporary $24 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Product presentation Customer relationship building Client rapport building Fashion styling Sales presentations Full Job Description The show is this weekend, Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th. We offer a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 6 hours per day. We start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. We sell women's clothing, with many pieces around $100. Our customers are women who appreciate fashion, are comfortable spending at this price point, and are looking to upgrade their wardrobe. We are looking for someone who understands this type of customer and can connect with her naturally. You should be able to suggest styles and options, be active and engaging without being pushy, and have strong communication skills and empathy. We expect a busy weekend, so you should also be comfortable with a physical sales shift and being on your feet most of the time. Of course, we provide breaks. Your job is to welcome potential customers, engage with them, understand what they are looking for, suggest pieces, and help them make decisions. For us, this job is 300% about good attitude, first impressions, energy, and genuinely enjoying working with people. We understand that a gig is a gig, but we want to be very clear about what we expect. If this type of active, customer-focused sales environment is not something you enjoy, please do not apply. We respect your time and ours, and we want to make sure this is a good fit for both sides. Because we sell fashion, presentation is important. We expect you to be well dressed while still being comfortable. Think of a simple cocktail-style look: perhaps black clothing, some makeup, a polished and understated appearance, and comfortable shoes. Imagine working in a women's fashion boutique — except our boutique is mobile. Pay is $25 per hour .
