In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to the overall success of the retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work in a fast-paced grocery store setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and drive sales Upsell products by effectively communicating their benefits to customers Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote sales Stock shelves and ensure products are well-presented and available for purchase Supervise junior staff members when required, fostering a collaborative team environment Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing and inventory management Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers Experience with merchandising techniques to effectively display products Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed A proactive approach to upselling and promoting store products Join us in delivering outstanding service while helping customers find exactly what they need!
