As a Sales Associate, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist with purchases, and provide excellent customer service.
Cash Handling:
Accurately operate the cash register, process cash and electronic payments, and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Store Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store, including sales floors, restrooms, food preparation areas, and outside premises.
Stocking & Merchandising:
Restock shelves, coolers, and displays. Ensure products are properly organized, priced, and rotated.
Food Preparation:
Prepare and maintain fresh food, coffee, and other hot food items while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Age-Restricted Sales:
Verify customer identification and follow all applicable laws and company policies regarding alcohol, tobacco, and other age-restricted products.
Loss Prevention:
Follow company procedures to help prevent theft, inventory shortages, and cash discrepancies.
Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with management and fellow employees to ensure smooth daily store operations.
Store Operations:
Complete assigned daily tasks, follow opening and closing procedures, and maintain store standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable health regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Dependable, punctual, and committed to scheduled shifts. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift merchandise as required. Willingness to learn and follow company procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, is preferred.
