We specialize in coins, precious metals, and fine jewelry. Our customers range from everyday shoppers to experienced collectors and investors. We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Sales Associate who enjoys working with people and is interested in learning about jewelry, coins, precious metals, and collectibles. No prior pawn or jewelry experience is required. Paid training is provided. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position in Oakland, CA. The Sales Associate will assist customers with purchases, sales, pawn transactions, and general store needs while providing a professional and welcoming experience. The role offers the opportunity to develop specialized knowledge in jewelry, coins, precious metals, watches, and collectibles while working alongside an experienced team. Responsibilities Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide excellent service Assist with purchases, sales, pawn loans, and other customer transactions Handle cash, payments, receipts, and point-of-sale transactions accurately Answer phone and in-person inquiries Learn to identify and evaluate jewelry, coins, precious metals, gold watches, and collectibles under supervision Assist with pricing, weighing, counting, and documenting merchandise Explain products, pricing, and relevant market information to customers Maintain attractive, secure, and organized displays Assist with inventory counts and daily store operations Maintain a clean and professional showroom Follow security procedures when handling valuable merchandise Address customer questions, concerns, and negotiations professionally Work collaboratively with a small, family-oriented team No cold calling, No Sales Quota.
